Thurber Jewelers offers a 10 day exchange policy. This policy applies to all items, except for
special orders, custom made jewelry, items requiring sizing, setting, or special work by the
goldsmith, consignment jewelry, worn watches and clearance items, which may not be exchanged
or returned. No refunds. Special orders may not be cancelled or modified. Management
reserves the right to refuse any exchange.
Ring Sizing Policy
Thurber Jewelers is glad to offer one-time resizing of new gold or platinum rings purchased at no
additional charge, within 30 days of purchase. Sterling silver rings may be resized within
30 days at a reduced rate. Alternative metal ring resizing is at the discretion of the designer. We
kindly request the privilege of measuring the finger the ring will be worn on, to ensure a perfect
fit. Changes in fit due to weather, temperature, injury, diet, medical condition, or failure to allow
a measurement are not the responsibility of Thurber Jewelers. Although rings are guaranteed to
be sized to the requested size printed on the work order at check-in, they are not guaranteed to
fit the finger upon delivery.
Thurber Jewelers makes an effort to provide an accurate estimate at the time repairs are
checked in. Changes in price or timetable, due to additional work or parts being necessary, or
the judgment of the goldsmith or watchmaker, are not the responsibility of Thurber Jewelers.
Prices are estimates only, and are not final until the work is complete. Repairs are guaranteed to
be performed as printed on the work order and estimate, but further damage that occurs after
the item is picked up is not covered by any guarantee. Any changes or additional work
requested or determined to be needed after initial repair check-in, including at the time of
delivery, will be assessed additional charges. Management reserves the right of final decision on
all guarantee claims.
Purchasing or checking in repair items to Thurber Jewelers constitutes consent to and
acceptance of all store policies.
