Formed over four billion years ago, Gibeon Meteorite is composed of super heated metals, cooled over long periods of time as they traveled space. The slow cooling process causes the metals to form a unique crystalline pattern, similar to that found in diamonds and other gemstones. This structure, known as a Widmanstätten pattern, is unique to this material, classifying Gibeon Metorite as a fine octahedrite. Each example of Gibeon Meteorite is different and unique, often containing metals not naturally found on Earth.
Our unique meteorite rings incorporate the workmanship and custom options you're used to from the rest of our collection, making perfect use of the special material. Baked to develop a rich, black color, zirconium metal is the perfect match for meteorite. The mystery and intigue of a black wedding band is complemented perfectly by the Gibeon Meteorite inlay, set at the center of this ring. Polished edges complete the look. Ring measures 8mm wide, with a comfort fit design for a smooth, easy wear.
