A member of the beryl family of gemstones, emeralds receive their unique green color from the presence of chromium as they form. Ranging in color and clarity from mint to brilliant green, cloudy to crystal clear, there's an emerald for everyone. The word "emerald" is derived the Latin word esmaraldus, a variant of the Latin word smaragdus, which originated in Ancient Greek: smaragdos, "green gem." Emerald is the May birthstone, but don't be afraid to enjoy its beauty if your bithday is in another month!
Drawing inspiration from vintage jewelry, this ring features millgrain trim surrounding its decadent stones. An oval shaped emerald is the centerpiece, with alternating diamonds and white gold beads surrounding it in a lovely halo. The diamonds continue down the band's shoulders, further accenting the piece. Sixteen diamonds total 1/10ct. We will gladly resize this ring to fit her finger, free of charge (first time only).
